Car battery replacement: how we help

CarmaCars does not do mechanical work. For battery service on the 2020 Subaru Forester Base, we connect you with a trusted shop. Lights left on overnight are the classic reason for a flat battery.

Your Forester and the shop

Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. The powertrain to know here is the 2.5L 4-cylinder, with all-wheel drive.

From request to repair

Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there. The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work. You approve the shop's quote before any work.

A short checklist

Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back.

Car care, briefly

Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them.

Java and the Forester
