The Tecstar, LP: Car battery replacement
Your Tecstar, LP needs battery service? We arrange a trusted shop; CarmaCars does not do the work. Lights left on overnight are the classic reason for a flat battery.
Details the shop needs
Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them.
How we help
We keep you posted until the car is booked in. We pass your request to a trusted shop or give you its name. We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop.
No car? Rent one meanwhile
Rent by the day or the week, and stop when your car is back. If the repair runs long, keep the rental longer. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.
Between shop visits
Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt.
Talking to the shop
Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare.
One more step
One request: the job, the car, and whether you need a rental meanwhile.
Request car battery replacement
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
