The ASC Incorporated: Car diagnostics
For a diagnostic check on the ASC Incorporated, CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop and never does the work itself. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.
Your car, your notes
Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request.
How the arrangement works
The shop sets the price and the time after seeing the car. Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there. You approve the shop's quote before any work.
No car? Rent one meanwhile
A rental from us keeps you moving while the shop has your car. Rent for as long as the job takes, by the day or the week. Delivery covers the Toronto area, priced by distance in your offer; pickup from us is free.
Talking to the shop
Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour.
Between shop visits
Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for.
Next step
A request is free and gets a reply within one business day.
Request car diagnostics
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
