Arranging the work for the A4

Car diagnostics for the 2019 Audi A4 Progressiv: the work is done by a shop we trust, never by CarmaCars. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.

Your car, your notes

Tell the shop the year, the trim and the engine: the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo. Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo, paired with a 7-speed automatic, drives it.

How the arrangement works

The shop sets the price and the time after seeing the car. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date. Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one.

No car? Rent one meanwhile

Rent for as long as the job takes, by the day or the week. Keep the rental as long as the repair takes. Delivery starts at $0 plus distance; collecting the car yourself is free.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour.

Good habits for your car

Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive.

Talk to a person

Describe the problem, and we arrange a trusted shop.
