The 2005 Audi A6: Car diagnostics
Searching for car diagnostics for the 2005 Audi A6? CarmaCars does not do this work itself; we arrange it with a trusted shop. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.
Your car, your notes
The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. It runs the 3.1L 6-cylinder, with all-wheel drive.
How the request works
The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work. You approve the shop's quote before any work. Tell us when suits you, and whether the car can be driven.
A car meanwhile
A rental from us keeps you moving while the shop has your car. If the repair runs long, keep the rental longer. We deliver around Toronto; pickup at our location is free.
What to ask
Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for.
Small things that help
Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Look at the tire tread before long trips.
One more step
Tell us the job and the car, and a person replies.
Request car diagnostics
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
