Car diagnostics: how we help
The 2018 Audi A7 and a diagnostic check: CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop, and never does the work itself. A steady check engine light needs a check soon; a flashing one means pull over safely and get help.
Before the shop sees your A7
The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the A7. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. Power comes from the 3.0L 6-cylinder supercharged, driving through an 8-speed automatic.
The steps
You approve the shop's quote before any work. Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there. You agree the price with the shop before any work starts.
A car while yours is in the shop
Rent by the day while the shop has your car. We deliver the rental to you and collect it when your car is ready. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.
What to ask
If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back.
Good habits for your car
Check that all lights work every few weeks. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them.
One more step
Need a rental too? Add it to the same request.
Request car diagnostics
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
