The Audi S6 e-tron: Car diagnostics
The Audi S6 e-tron and a diagnostic check: CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop, and never does the work itself. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.
Your car, your notes
The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the S6 e-tron.
Who does what
We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop.
Driving while yours is at the shop
Keep moving with a rental while the shop has your car, by the day at our usual rates. The rental is priced like any other on our site. Your offer shows any delivery fee before you pay.
What to ask
Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up.
Small things that help
Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell.
Ready when you are
Start with the car, the job and your location.
Request car diagnostics
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
