A rental while yours is in the shop
CarmaCars does not do this work; you keep driving while the shop has your car. We deliver a rental to you, by the day, at our usual rates.

The Bertone: Car diagnostics
For a diagnostic check on the Bertone, a trusted shop does the work and CarmaCars arranges it, with a rental if you need one. A steady check engine light needs a check soon; a flashing one means pull over safely and get help.
Your car, your notes
Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car.
How the request works
We do not set the shop's price or promise a date. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. You approve the shop's quote before any work.
No car? Rent one meanwhile
Keep the rental as long as the repair takes. Add a rental to the same request as the repair. The handover is in person, at your address or at our location.
Small things that help
Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for.
Questions to ask the shop
If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare.
Talk to a person
Tell us what is wrong with the car, and we arrange the rest with a trusted shop.
Request car diagnostics
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
