Arranging the work for the Active E
Your BMW Active E needs a diagnostic check? We do not do mechanical work, but we arrange it and rent you a car meanwhile. A steady check engine light needs a check soon; a flashing one means pull over safely and get help.
Details the shop needs
If you have the service history of your Active E, have it ready for the shop. Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the Active E. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed.
How the arrangement works
We do not set the shop's price or promise a date. We keep you posted until the car is booked in. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us.
No car? Rent one meanwhile
A rental from us keeps you moving while the shop has your car. Rent by the day while the shop has your car. Pick it up from us for free, or have it brought to you.
Before the shop starts
Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there.
Small things that help
Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for. Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow.
Make a request
Send the car's details and the job, and we take the next step.
Request car diagnostics
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
