The CCC Engineering: Car diagnostics
For a diagnostic check on your CCC Engineering, we arrange a trusted shop; CarmaCars does not do the work. A steady check engine light needs a check soon; a flashing one means pull over safely and get help.
Your car, your notes
The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request.
What we arrange
Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. We follow up until the shop has the car booked in. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date.
Stay on the road
A rental keeps your week on track during the repair. If the repair runs long, keep the rental longer. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.
What to ask
Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree.
Good habits for your car
Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair. Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for.
Talk to a person
Start with a short request; a person replies within one business day.
