The 2005 Chrysler Pacifica: Car diagnostics
CarmaCars does not do mechanical work. For a diagnostic check on the 2005 Chrysler Pacifica, we connect you with a trusted shop. A steady check engine light needs a check soon; a flashing one means pull over safely and get help.
Your car, your notes
Tell the shop the year, the trim and the engine: the 3.8L 6-cylinder. If you have the service history of your Pacifica, have it ready for the shop. The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. Its 3.8L 6-cylinder drives through a 4-speed automatic.
Who does what
You agree the price with the shop before any work starts. You agree everything with the shop before work begins. We pass your request to a trusted shop or give you its name.
A rental while you wait
A rental from us keeps you moving while the shop has your car. Keep the rental as long as the repair takes. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.
What to ask
Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour.
Between shop visits
Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive.
Make a request
Tell us what is wrong with the car, and we arrange the rest with a trusted shop.
Request car diagnostics
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
