Car diagnostics: how we help
Need a diagnostic check for the 2002 Dodge Intrepid? We arrange it with a trusted shop; the work is never done by CarmaCars. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.
Details the shop needs
The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. Under the hood: the 2.7L 6-cylinder and front-wheel drive.
Who does what
We pass your request to a trusted shop or give you its name. We follow up until the shop has the car booked in. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date.
A car meanwhile
We deliver the rental to you and collect it when your car is ready. Rent by the day or the week, and stop when your car is back. Delivery and pickup are both options across the Toronto area.
Questions to ask the shop
Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back.
Good habits for your car
Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Check that all lights work every few weeks.
Over to you
Ask, and we tell you plainly what we can arrange.
Request car diagnostics
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
