The 1992 Dodge Ram Van: Car diagnostics
For a diagnostic check on the 1992 Dodge Ram Van, a trusted shop does the work and CarmaCars arranges it, with a rental if you need one. A steady check engine light needs a check soon; a flashing one means pull over safely and get help.
Your car, your notes
Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the Ram Van. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. If you have the service history of your Ram Van, have it ready for the shop.
Who does what
We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. You agree the price with the shop before any work starts.
No car? Rent one meanwhile
Rent by the day while the shop has your car. We bring the rental to you and collect it afterwards. Delivery is priced by distance in your offer, and pickup from us is free.
Talking to the shop
Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate.
Small things that help
Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months.
Your move
Tell us the job and the car, and a person replies.
Request car diagnostics
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
