Arranging the work for the VISTA
CarmaCars does not do mechanical work, but for a diagnostic check on the Eagle VISTA we arrange a trusted shop. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.
About your VISTA
The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them.
The steps
We follow up until the shop has the car booked in. Tell us when suits you, and whether the car can be driven. The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work.
Stay on the road
If the repair runs long, keep the rental longer. Pick a car that suits your week from our fleet. Your offer shows the delivery fee if you want the car brought to you.
Questions to ask the shop
If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree.
Between shop visits
If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt.
