The Environmental Rsch and Devp: Car diagnostics
For a diagnostic check on your Environmental Rsch and Devp, we arrange a trusted shop; CarmaCars does not do the work. A steady check engine light needs a check soon; a flashing one means pull over safely and get help.
Details the shop needs
The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare.
Our part and the shop's part
Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. We keep you posted until the car is booked in. You agree the price with the shop before any work starts.
A rental while you wait
We can have a rental ready the day your car goes in. Rent by the day or the week, and stop when your car is back. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.
Before the shop starts
If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate.
Between shop visits
If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow.
Make a request
