Car diagnostics: how we help
CarmaCars does not do this work itself. For a diagnostic check on the Ferrari 296, we arrange it with a trusted shop or connect you with one. A steady check engine light needs a check soon; a flashing one means pull over safely and get help.
Before the shop sees your 296
The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. If you have the service history of your 296, have it ready for the shop. Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the 296.
Who does what
Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name. The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work. We follow up until the shop has the car booked in.
Stay on the road
Keep the rental as long as the repair takes. Rent by the day while the shop has your car. Delivery starts at $0 plus distance; collecting the car yourself is free.
What to ask
Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you.
Car care, briefly
Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Check that all lights work every few weeks.
Send a request
Start with the car, the job and your location.
Request car diagnostics
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
