Car diagnostics: how we help
For a diagnostic check on the Fiat, CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop and never does the work itself. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.
Your car, your notes
The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them.
How we help
We pass your request to a trusted shop or give you its name. You approve the shop's quote before any work. Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one.
A rental while you wait
Add a rental to the same request as the repair. Rent by the day while the shop has your car. We meet you with the car at the time we confirm, at your address or ours.
Getting a clear quote
Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept.
Good habits for your car
Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair. Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance.
