Questions to ask the shop
Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours.
Between shop visits
Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Check that all lights work every few weeks.
