Arranging the work for the Spectrum
Need a diagnostic check for your Geo Spectrum? We do not do mechanical work, but we arrange it with a trusted shop and keep you driving meanwhile. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.
Your car, your notes
The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed.
Who does what
The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work. You approve the shop's quote before any work. Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name.
Your rental while you wait
A rental keeps your week on track during the repair. We bring the rental to you and collect it afterwards. We deliver across the Toronto area, or you collect the car from our location for free.
A short checklist
Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours.
Small things that help
Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Check that all lights work every few weeks.
Ready when you are
Tell us what is wrong with the car, and we arrange the rest with a trusted shop.
Request car diagnostics
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
