What to ask
Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour.
Between shop visits
Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires.
