Car diagnostics for the Jaguar Vdp
The Jaguar Vdp and a diagnostic check: CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop, and never does the work itself. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.
Details the shop needs
The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. If you have the service history of your Vdp, have it ready for the shop. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car.
What to send us
The shop sets the price and the time after seeing the car. We follow up until the shop has the car booked in. We keep you posted until the car is booked in.
A car while yours is in the shop
The rental is priced like any other on our site. Keep moving with a rental while the shop has your car, by the day at our usual rates. We deliver around Toronto; pickup at our location is free.
Good habits for your car
Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Look at the tire tread before long trips. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months.
Talking to the shop
Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice.
Your move
Ask us, and we tell you whether we can arrange it.
Request car diagnostics
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
