CarmaCars does not do mechanical work, but for a diagnostic check on the Jeep we arrange a trusted shop. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.

The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car.
How the request works
You approve the shop's quote before any work. Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name. Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one.
No car? Rent one meanwhile
We bring the rental to you and collect it afterwards. Pick a car that suits your week from our fleet. Your offer shows the delivery fee if you want the car brought to you.
Good habits for your car
Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair. Look at the tire tread before long trips. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them.

Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare.
