Arranging the work for the Sorento

Need a diagnostic check for the 2021 Kia Sorento LX? We arrange it with a trusted shop; the work is never done by CarmaCars. A steady check engine light needs a check soon; a flashing one means pull over safely and get help.

    Details the shop needs

Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the Sorento. The 2.5L 4-cylinder does the work, through an 8-speed automatic.

    Who does what

We keep you posted until the car is booked in. You agree the price with the shop before any work starts. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date.

    Questions to ask the shop

Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour.

    Good habits for your car

Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can.
