Arranging the work for the ES
Need a diagnostic check for your 1999 Lexus ES? We do not do mechanical work, but we arrange it with a trusted shop and keep you driving meanwhile. A steady check engine light needs a check soon; a flashing one means pull over safely and get help.
Your car, your notes
The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. Under the hood: the 3.0L 6-cylinder and front-wheel drive.
Who does what
You approve the shop's quote before any work. You agree everything with the shop before work begins. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date.
No car? Rent one meanwhile
We can have a rental ready the day your car goes in. We deliver the rental to you and collect it when your car is ready. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.
Questions to ask the shop
Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for.
Car care, briefly
If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow.
Make a request
Need a rental too? Add it to the same request.
Request car diagnostics
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
