The 2016 Lexus ES: Car diagnostics
Your 2016 Lexus ES needs a diagnostic check? We arrange a trusted shop; CarmaCars does not do the work. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.
Details the shop needs
Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the ES. The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. Tell the shop the year, the trim and the engine: the 2.5L 4-cylinder hybrid. Power comes from the 2.5L 4-cylinder hybrid, driving through an automatic (CVT).
The steps
The shop sets the price and the time after seeing the car. Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name. We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job.
Your rental while you wait
Pick a car that suits your week from our fleet. We deliver the rental to you and collect it when your car is ready. Delivery and pickup are both options across the Toronto area.
Between shop visits
Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months.
Questions to ask the shop
If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours.
Want a price?
Send the car's details and the job, and we take the next step.
Request car diagnostics
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
