Arranging the work for the LC
The 2018 Lexus LC and a diagnostic check: CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop, and never does the work itself. A steady check engine light needs a check soon; a flashing one means pull over safely and get help.
Your car, your notes
The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. It is powered by the 3.5L 6-cylinder hybrid, with rear-wheel drive.
Our part and the shop's part
We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date. You agree everything with the shop before work begins.
A car while yours is in the shop
Keep moving with a rental while the shop has your car, by the day at our usual rates. Rent by the day while the shop has your car. We meet you with the car at the time we confirm, at your address or ours.
Between shop visits
Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule.
A short checklist
Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour.
Talk to a person
Need the work and a rental? One request covers both.
Request car diagnostics
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
