The 2016 Lexus LX: Car diagnostics
Your 2016 Lexus LX needs a diagnostic check? We do not do mechanical work, but we arrange it and rent you a car meanwhile. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.
Your LX and the shop
If you have the service history of your LX, have it ready for the shop. Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the LX. The powertrain to know here is the 5.7L 8-cylinder, with four-wheel drive.
Who does what
We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop. Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name.
Stay on the road
Rent by the day or the week, and stop when your car is back. Rent by the day while the shop has your car. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.
Small things that help
Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old.
Before the shop starts
Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there.
Questions first?
A request is free and gets a reply within one business day.
