Arranging the work for the RX
Your 2014 Lexus RX needs a diagnostic check? We arrange a trusted shop; CarmaCars does not do the work. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.
Your car, your notes
The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. Power: the 3.5L 6-cylinder hybrid; drive: front-wheel drive.
What we arrange
The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. The shop sets the price and the time after seeing the car. Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name.
A car while yours is in the shop
Rent for as long as the job takes, by the day or the week. The rental is priced like any other on our site. Delivery starts at $0 plus distance; collecting the car yourself is free.
A short checklist
Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies.
Between shop visits
Check that all lights work every few weeks. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months.
Make a request
Send a request with the car and what it needs, and a person replies within one business day.
Request car diagnostics
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
