Car diagnostics: how we help
Searching for car diagnostics for the 2015 Lexus RX? CarmaCars does not do this work itself; we arrange it with a trusted shop. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.
Details the shop needs
Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. Under the hood: the 3.5L 6-cylinder hybrid and front-wheel drive.
Our part and the shop's part
We keep you posted until the car is booked in. The shop sets the price and the time after seeing the car. You approve the shop's quote before any work.
A rental while you wait
Rent by the day while the shop has your car. A rental from us keeps you moving while the shop has your car. We deliver across the Toronto area, or you collect the car from our location for free.
Between shop visits
Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for. Look at the tire tread before long trips. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive.
Before the shop starts
Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies.
Ready to ask?
Send a request: the car, the problem and when suits you.
Request car diagnostics
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
