Arranging the work for the UX

Your UX and the shop
Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them.

You agree everything with the shop before work begins. The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work. We pass your request to a trusted shop or give you its name.

Questions to ask the shop
Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up.
Small things that help
Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow.
