The Maybach: Car diagnostics
Need a diagnostic check for the Maybach? We arrange it with a trusted shop; the work is never done by CarmaCars. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.
Your car, your notes
The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare.
How the request works
Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. We follow up until the shop has the car booked in. The shop sets the price and the time after seeing the car.
A car meanwhile
Rent for as long as the job takes, by the day or the week. We can have a rental ready the day your car goes in. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.
Good habits for your car
Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due.
What to ask
Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept.
