Car diagnostics: how we help
CarmaCars does not do this work itself. For a diagnostic check on the Morgan, we arrange it with a trusted shop or connect you with one. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.
Details the shop needs
The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car.
What to send us
Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there. You agree the price with the shop before any work starts. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us.
A car meanwhile
The rental is priced like any other on our site. We deliver the rental to you and collect it when your car is ready. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.
Small things that help
Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt.
What to ask
If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour.
Next step
Ask, and we tell you plainly what we can arrange.
Request car diagnostics
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
