The 2012 Nissan NV: Car diagnostics
For a diagnostic check on the 2012 Nissan NV, CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop and rents you a car while yours is in. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.
About your NV
A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the NV.
How the arrangement works
We keep you posted until the car is booked in. We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop. You approve the shop's quote before any work.
A car meanwhile
Rent by the day or the week, and stop when your car is back. We collect the rental when your car is back. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.
Before the shop starts
If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare.
Small things that help
If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair.
Still deciding?
Send a request with the car and what it needs, and a person replies within one business day.
