For a diagnostic check on your Red Shift, we arrange a trusted shop; CarmaCars does not do the work. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.

Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request.

You approve the shop's quote before any work. We keep you posted until the car is booked in. We pass your request to a trusted shop or give you its name.
A car meanwhile
The rental is priced like any other on our site. We collect the rental when your car is back. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.
Small things that help
Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule.
A short checklist
Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon.
