Car diagnostics for the 2021 Subaru Forester Limited

Details the shop needs

Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the Forester. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. It is powered by the 2.5L 4-cylinder, with all-wheel drive.

Who does what

Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there. The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work.

A short checklist

Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for.

Good habits for your car

Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old.
