Arranging the work for the Impreza
For a diagnostic check on the 2000 Subaru Impreza, CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop and rents you a car while yours is in. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.
Your Impreza and the shop
The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts.
How the request works
The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job.
Your rental while you wait
The rental is priced like any other on our site. Keep moving with a rental while the shop has your car, by the day at our usual rates. We hand every car over in person, at your address or at our location.
Before the shop starts
Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon.
Car care, briefly
Look at the tire tread before long trips. Check that all lights work every few weeks. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them.
Still deciding?
Tell us what is wrong with the car, and we arrange the rest with a trusted shop.
Request car diagnostics
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
