Car diagnostics for the Tecstar, LP
For a diagnostic check on your Tecstar, LP, we arrange a trusted shop; CarmaCars does not do the work. A steady check engine light needs a check soon; a flashing one means pull over safely and get help.
Details the shop needs
Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them.
What CarmaCars does here
You agree the price with the shop before any work starts. Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there. The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work.
Your rental while you wait
Pick a car that suits your week from our fleet. The rental is priced like any other on our site. Delivery covers the Toronto area, priced by distance in your offer; pickup from us is free.
Between shop visits
Check that all lights work every few weeks. Look at the tire tread before long trips. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule.
Before the shop starts
If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected.
