Car diagnostics: how we help
For a diagnostic check on the Vinfast, CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop and rents you a car while yours is in. A steady check engine light needs a check soon; a flashing one means pull over safely and get help.
Details the shop needs
Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare.
How the request works
You agree the price with the shop before any work starts. Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there. We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop.
Stay on the road
If the repair runs long, keep the rental longer. Keep the rental as long as the repair takes. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.
Before the shop starts
Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back.
Between shop visits
Check that all lights work every few weeks. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Look at the tire tread before long trips.
Ready to ask?
Ask us, and we tell you whether we can arrange it.
Request car diagnostics
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
