A short checklist
Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it.
Car care, briefly
Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old.
