Buying the 2018 Nissan Versa Note
We are a rental company, not a dealer, so there is no 2018 Nissan Versa Note for sale by us right now. CarmaCars does not finance cars. Renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check to rent. This page helps you judge the 2018 Nissan Versa Note before you buy one anywhere.
A buyer's checks
Owners filed 3 complaints with NHTSA, most often about power train, service brakes and suspension; have those parts checked. Ask for the service records and check open recalls by the VIN. A pre-purchase inspection at a shop you choose is money well spent. Look at the tires, brakes and battery; they are costly to replace.
What the figures tell you
The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.
Who rents the Versa Note
It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.
Living with the Versa Note
It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with.
Rent it for a week first
Try the Versa Note on your commute, then decide. A test week in the Versa Note tells you more than any review. Load it with your things and park it where you park; then decide.
Choosing the right one
A newer year is not always better; check what changed before paying more for it. Decide what matters most first: fuel use, space, or the price you can pay. If two trims share a powertrain, the difference is equipment, which you can check in person.
Running costs
Ask what a set of tires costs for this trim; sizes and prices vary. Get an insurance quote for this exact model before you buy; rates differ a lot between models.
