The A4 and Farmbrook

If you are near Farmbrook, Dogwood Hollow, Greenbrook and Oaktree Hollow are close too.

Under the hood

The powertrain to know here is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo, with front-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

It is rated at 7.8 L/100 km combined; 300 km takes about 23 litres. Expect about $13.65 per 100 km at our price setting.

Good uses for the A4

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.

The A4 in everyday use

As a compact car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. EPA lists 368 litres of luggage space, enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Renting it

Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Pick it up from us for free, or have it brought to you.

The booking steps

Start with a request. Choose the car, the pickup time and the return time, and send it without paying anything. We answer with a written offer: the car, the dates, the price and the deposit. Nothing is charged until you approve it and pay.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.

Renting: the basics

At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is separate from the rental price and is returned after the rental. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.
