Car hire and the 2020 Audi A4 Technik

The A4 and Java

We have no location in Java; CarmaCars rents from Toronto, about 1,639 km away. If you need it in Java itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.

Other places near Java: Selby, Lowry and Sitka.

What the figures tell you

It runs the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo, with front-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

It is rated 7.9 L/100 km combined: about 24 litres every 300 km. In energy, every 100 km costs about $13.83 at our price setting.

Size and space

As a compact car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. NHTSA's Canadian figures put it at 4.76 m long. Check the size of a tight parking spot. The EPA measures its luggage space at 368 litres, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Best uses

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

Renting it

There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer.

Who can rent

From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. Young drivers are welcome: a daily fee applies under 26. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.

How it works

All you send at first is a request with the car and the dates, and it is free. A staff member reads the request and sends the offer. We reply within 2 hours. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.

The photos on a car's page are of that car. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. With 2 hours of notice or more, a same-day pickup can work when the car is free.

Next step

The quickest way to a price is a request with your dates. It costs nothing.
