Mapleton and the A4

Kingston Mines, Hollis and Glasford are the neighbouring places on our list.

The numbers in plain words

It uses the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid and all-wheel drive. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

For 300 km of mixed driving, expect about 25 litres, from its 8.3 L/100 km rating. A weekend of 300 km comes to about $38.61 at our price setting.

Space and size

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. In plain terms, its 340 litres of luggage space hold about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

When the A4 makes sense

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends.

Can I rent it?

There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.

The booking steps

You request the car online with your dates, and you pay nothing to send it. A staff member reads the request and sends the offer. We reply within 2 hours. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. The monthly rate covers a booking of up to 365 days. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.

What you need to rent

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. There is no maximum age. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee each day. You show your original licence and your card when we hand you the keys.

Third-party liability is in the rate; for the car, bring OPCF 27, use your card's benefit, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.
