Car hire: the 2021 Audi A4 Progressiv

Renting the 2021 Audi A4 Progressiv as a rental car works like any rental with us: a free request, an offer, then the keys. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.

Renting for Mapleton

We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Mapleton starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here. CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 1,144 km from Mapleton, and does not deliver there.

The figures, translated

The engine is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, with all-wheel drive and a 7-speed automatic. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

By the EPA's combined rating of 8.3 L/100 km, 300 km takes about 25 litres. A weekend of 300 km comes to about $38.61 at our price setting.

A good match for

It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

Size and space

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. With 340 litres of luggage space by the EPA's measure, it takes about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Before pickup

You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

Third-party liability is in the rate; for the car, bring OPCF 27, use your card's benefit, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.

The steps

Choose a car, set the pickup and return times, and send the request. You pay nothing to ask. An offer follows, with the car we confirm and the full price for your dates. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.

Your move

Pick a car, send a request, and decide once you see the offer.
