The figures, translated

Power: the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid; drive: all-wheel drive. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

At 8.3 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 25 litres of fuel. In energy, every 100 km costs about $12.87 at our price setting.

Who rents the A4

It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends.

Space and size

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. The trunk holds 340 litres by the EPA's count: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Our A4 cars

If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. The handover is in person, at your address or at our location.

The rules, briefly

If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. We accept young drivers; those under 26 pay a daily fee. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.

Third-party liability is in the rate; for the car, bring OPCF 27, use your card's benefit, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.

Booking with CarmaCars

Pick the car and the dates that suit you, then send a request. There is no payment at that point. A real person reviews your request and sends an offer with the price spelled out. You pay only once you approve the offer.

Each listing shows the daily, weekly and monthly rate of that car. Book by the week from 7 days, or by the month up to 365 days. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.
