Driver requirements

Drivers 18 and older can rent with a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. The name on the card has to match the name on the licence.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.

What happens when you ask for a car

You start by asking: a car, a start time, an end time. Asking is free. Next comes our offer, with the confirmed car and every charge on one page. The booking is confirmed when you approve the offer and pay it.

Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. The monthly rate covers a booking of up to 365 days. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.
