Who can rent
The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. If any driver is under 26, a young driver fee is added for each day. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.
You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.
Booking, step by step
Pick your car, enter your dates and send the request. That is all you do at first, and it is free. We check the calendar and your details, then send you an offer with the total. Approving the offer and paying it confirms the booking.
Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. The monthly rate covers a booking of up to 365 days. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.

How old do I need to be to rent?

How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $0 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
