Rules for renters

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.

If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.

The booking steps

You begin by requesting a car for your dates; the request is free. The reply is an offer you can read in full before you decide anything. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.

Each listing shows the daily, weekly and monthly rate of that car. Book one day, one week, or up to 365 days at once. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.
