Car hire: Tecstar, LP

About the Tecstar, LP

For a rental car, the Tecstar, LP is one of many cars on CarmaCars, each with its own page. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.

The figures, translated

The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.

Best uses

It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.

Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. No Tecstar, LP is in our fleet today; ask for one in a request and we search for your dates. Pick it up from us for free, or have it brought to you.

Booking with CarmaCars

Send the request with your dates first; no money changes hands at that stage. We reply with an offer for the car and the dates, priced in full. Your card is charged only when you approve the offer.

Compare cars side by side by opening their pages. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. Requests for later the same day work when there are at least 2 hours to spare.

Who can rent

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more are the starting point. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.

If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is separate from the rental price and is returned after the rental. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.

Send a request

Request a car, read the offer, and decide. That is the whole process.
