Before you rent

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.

Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car, you choose one of three options before pickup. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.
